Jodhpur:

The blue city of Rajasthan – Jodhpur is a place worth visiting. The picturesque view of the lakes and blue painted buildings make Jodhpur a feast for the eye.

Attractions: Mehrangarh fort is one of the largest forts of India. This 125m tall fort houses a museum which is well stocked and displays the history and culture of Rajasthan. Sardaar market is also famous for its shops. Stepwell and Umaid Bhawan Museum are some other tourist spots.

Jaisalmer:

Jaisalmer is a desert town located in the far west of India and is known as the ‘Golden City’.  The sand dunes are ideal for desert and jeep safari. The vast sea of land is home to various campsites and other tourist activities.

Attractions: Jaisalmer fort is the main tourist attraction of the city. The humongous fort is a world heritage site and is one of the largest fully preserved fortified cities in the world. Camel safari and jeep safari are pretty popular in Jaisalmer along with camping in the dunes. Gadisar Lake is another famous tourist spot.
